Hi there, 

I've been really busy this month so It's been a while since my last post. 

I took the opportunity of being alone for the month of September to make a corner cabinet for our front room (my wife was in the UK for four weeks, looking after a grandson). I did it in between my commissioned work, of course. 

I finally installed it yesterday, and Jan likes it, so that's a relief!
 
I will be uploading a .pdf file soon about its it's manufacture so watch this space! I've included a sneak preview of the photo below, let me know what you think......

Hi, 
August has been quite busy on the project side with three designs completed and four actual pieces made. 

The first two projects were Ash guitar stands, one for my 6-stringed semi-acoustic, and the other for my 12-stringed acoustic. I made them for myself initially, although I have had an order for a stand for an electric Bass guitar. This is for a client in France who wants one for her birthday next Spring, so that will be placed on the order book for March 2013. Let me know if you are in...

Furniture Designer/Maker


Kerry Donovan I am a designer/maker based in Brittany and have been a cabinet maker since 1986. I create one-off pieces of furniture to order, and I work in temperate hardwood like Oak, Ash, Elm and Cherry, all harvested from sustainable woodland here in France.
